I loved this. And excuse the hyperbole, but I really did love it.
During Creative Week, Adobe®, a great partner, had a fantastic event in conjunction with the launch of Adobe® Creative Cloud™ and Creative Suite® 6. They set up the AIGA National Design Center Gallery in New York with a ton of tablets and people were encouraged to create and upload their work.
That, by itself, would be fun.
But there was more.
When you uploaded the art, they optimized it for a custom messenger bag that was to be sent later.
Upon my return from a trip, I found a huge box with my messenger bag. As you can see from the photos, I am not very artistic. At all.
I’ve been in this biz for quite awhile and have seen all manner of promotions, launches and the like. This one? It takes the creative cake. A way to touch the product (even though I can only draw stick figures), express creativity and walk away with something unique, tangible and incredibly useful.
A big hat tip to Adobe on this one.
