I’d Love Path, If I Could Just Get In The Habit

I like Path. I really do.

The problem? I just can’t seem to get in the habit of using it consistently.

When I go to bed, I forget to tap “Go To Sleep.” In fact, I think that one day I had forgotten to tap “I’m Awake” until later in the day and to my network, it appeared that I had slept for 12 hours. Last time I did that, it was college and 12 bags of Cheetos and 14 Snickers bars were involved.

I think I also have to think more clearly about the friends I have on there.

Just 50?

Yes, it is fantastic having the micro approach, but sometimes it is kind of nice to have a little mess in my feed. I also feel bad unfollowing someone (which I must get over) because it is a more intimate environment.

I like that it’s simple. I like that it’s clean. I like that it’s easy. I like that it’s intuitive and elegant.

Hell, I like so many things about Path.

I’m sure that all of the “like” will turn into a love affair.

But I just can’t quite get into the Path habit yet.

I agree completely. I've been using it for a little while now and I love the clean look and feel... not to mention the easy integration for other networks. The "waking up" and "sleeping" notifications are a little odd to me. It seems a little perverse getting that detailed in the things you share. Is it worth sharing? Are you doing this to record it for yourself? Do YOU even care when you went to bed last Thursday? I'll keep using it because of the multiple network integration but that's the only thing keeping me on the "Path".
