This Week’s Theme: Back To School
Oh Summer…
Whilst not quite in the rearview, that big yellow bus that’s adding a few minutes to your morning commute signals the call to Fall even more than the countdown to kickoff.
Perhaps you’re a parent, wondering where the hell the past five years went – trying to balance the fear of your child growing up with his anticipatory celebration of that school bus turning the corner for the very first time.
And maybe you don’t have kids, but you just want to feel like one again – trying to balance the fear of your career being put on hold with the anticipatory celebration of everything that a Master’s degree will mean.
Some things that we’d like to discuss with you this week:
- Students: What are you looking forward to? What are you scared of?
- Educators: What do you hope your students learn this year?
- For our industry: How important is education as a foundation?
- Online vs. On-Campus: How different are the experiences?
- Summer spend: Did you unplug and recharge – or choose studying over the pool?
Our Tuesday #awscchat *On Back To School* will choose a desk at the front of the class, and we’ll stuff the Wisdom + Wisdom Wednesday (#awscw3) backpack with a few extra homework assignments.
