A thought leader in the industry, Richard Hartell is MediaVest USA’s EVP, Managing Director of Human Experience Strategy. He drives expansion of the agency’s Human Experience practice, making this capability core to the agency offering.
With over 15 years of media and strategy experience, and a track record of strategic brilliance, product excellence, and inspiring leadership, Richard heads the exploration of human behavior and leverages that understanding to inspire meaningful human experiences for clients’ brands.
Over the last few years Richard has run client business in banking, food, drink, retail and entertainment winning a number of industry awards. He has happily immersed himself in world of media that, in his eyes, has increasingly become the single most interesting place to be (even his son thinks what he does is really quite cool).
In June 2011, Richard moved to New York looking to create fresh ways of thinking, experience a different culture and to be at the heart of the changes in media, technology and entertainment. He lives in Tribeca with his wife and 4-year-old son and is learning to speak “American”.
