Ibiza “Bee” Medina is a junior at the University of Oregon majoring in Advertising and minoring in Communication and Folklore. Bee spent her high school days writing about haunted places in San Jose, California for her school newspaper. She has since found other, slightly less creepy interests, which include geocaching, trivia learning, dancing, and people-watching. She prides herself of her city navigation and general sense of direction, as well as understanding the gist of what someone says when they speak to her in Spanish. Bee likes to learn through hands-on experience and is currently involved in a non-profit anti-binge drinking ad campaign as an account intern. She is also a member of the UO Ad Society and is constantly looking for more opportunities. This summer, Bee will be studying abroad in Ghana and interning at an African agency. Outside of school, Bee works as a concessionist at a movie theater and was just wondering if you wanted butter on that. After college, Bee has dreams of leaving the glamourous life of popcorn-making to become an account planner.
