I am from the middle of nowhere Nevada, the type of town you do not realize you are in until you are leaving. I was drawn to the University of Oregon because I wanted to be somewhere different. I was drawn to journalism because I love to write. I was drawn to advertising because it encompasses everything I love, like planning, people, and thinking outside the box. My dream is be an account/brand manager at an agency in New York City, which will be my future home no matter what. I am obsessed with colors, especially blue, which is the color of my eyes. Maybe I see things in all shades of it. I live on Starbucks, thrive on ideas, cook/bake a lot, am in a committed relationship with Apple, and think people are the most fun, frustrating, and inspiring things on the planet. I love being a Duck and talking about loving being a Duck at my job as a Student Ambassador and Multicultural Recruiter. I am passionate about what I do, and I am never short on personality.
My first real work in advertising has been as an account manager and strategist in Allen Hall Advertising in the UO School of Journalism and Communication. Currently I am working with soap and anti-binge drinking. I think it goes to show that I am up for any challenge and adaptable. I am always open to new opportunities, collaborating, and constructive criticism. Don’t be shy. I’m not.
