My name is Luke Hausman, and I’m a firm believer in challenging yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally. As a sophomore at the University of Oregon, I cannot stress enough the importance of acquiring and spreading knowledge.
College has taken a toll on me for the betterment of my well-being, and I continue to grow as an individual.
Growing up, I always had an inclination to move my body.
Gymnastics and pole vaulting helped me keep an active lifestyle and challenge myself to learn new skills. College opened my eyes to other forms of exercise. I never thought I would say that I’d be training for triathlons, but I suppose anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
My friends say I eat like a baby dinosaur.
I just happen to appreciate good food in large portions. You should also know that I love to dance. So typically you’ll find me dancing in the kitchen whether you’re watching or not.
Photography and film have been passion of mine for a while, but Advertising is a new development.
It can allow you to be much more than a producer — it allows you to creatively and critically solve problems. Which is why majoring in Advertising and minoring in Art feels like the best suit for me.
I want to have a career that challenges my creative thinking and strategic motives.
I love having the reward of experiencing that “aha!” moment.
