I’m Nick, and I generally consider myself to be a creative dude.
I grew up in Tualatin, a town just south of Portland and a shining example of modern American suburbia. Despite the humdrum connotation often packed into the idea of the suburbs, I deeply enjoyed my hometown and (almost) all the memories associated with it.
I can say with almost complete honesty that one of the only parts of high school I enjoyed was editing and writing for my school newspaper. It’s where I met my best friends, where I found my niche and where I was able to unload my creativity on a daily basis.
Without that experience, I think I would be rather lost.
As a Journalism major at the University of Oregon, I’ve developed my writing and design skills by becoming involved in student-run and independent publications on campus.
I’ve been involved in photography for five years now, and consider it to be my supreme hobby. Whenever I have the opportunity to work with my camera, I’m happy.
I enjoy talking, laughing, ping-pong, biking and watching my favorite movies until I’ve memorized every line.
