Huffington iPad Magazine Says Goodbye to Pay Wall
After initially charging $1 per issue for the first five weeks and receiving approximately 115,000 downloads, it seems that The Huffington Post has decided to back to a more traditional monetization model for the publication rather than rely on subscription revenue.

Don’t Kill The Daily, Make It Free Instead
If The Daily is relying on both advertising and subscription revenue to survive then they seem to have won at least half the battle. But subscribership alone isn’t enough.
